AGM and Lunch meeting on Wednesday 19 March 2025

On Wednesday 19 March 2025, RJC members gathered at De Sociëteit aan de Maas for Annual Geeral Meeting, Lunch and the talk of Dr. Tim Laméris, Assistant Professor of Japanese Linguistics at Leiden University.

With drinks in hand, members greeted each other and networked at the bar before attending the AGM. The new members and a new board member introduced themselves to the club.  AGM went very smoothly and ended with applause.

After a nice lunch together,　our guest speaker Dr. Tim Laméris shared his study with Japanese-English bilingual returnee children (kikokushijo), and from a study with Brazilian Portuguese-Japanese bilingual speakers (nikkei burajirujin).

We extend our warmest gratitude to Dr. Tim Laméris for an academic talk about the scientifical research in Bilingual Speakers.
